As the response to our calls
for help is much larger outside Germany then inside, we decided to publish this 'URGENT
CALL TO ALL OUR READERS' in English.
Antisemitic content in German language is rapidly growing: As German officials urgently
warned last year, the number of such propaganda sites grew by more than 600% in 1998, and
the content of these pages is getting more and more violent. The same report concluded
that it is almost impossible to control these pages, as they are hosted in countries where
the publication of antisemitic propaganda does not constitute a criminal offense.
When we started haGalil onLine, all major search engines drew interested readers (surfers)
to pages with antisemitic content. Our constant work, as performed since 1995, resulted in
pushing all these sites back to less important ranks. They are still getting more and more
in numbers, but pupils in search for information on judaism will get their answers from
haGalil onLine - which is, by now, listed in top positions in all major search engines for
keywords like 'Judentum', 'jüdisch', 'Jude', and so on.
